My name is Lindsey Bjornstad, I'm 22 and currently living in Plymouth, MN and going to Northwestern College in St. Paul for Elementary Education with a Special Ed. Minor. I grew up in MN but my parents moved to Atlanta, GA this past year because of my dad's job, so "home" is pretty far away for me! Right after high school I went to a 2 year Bible school and now I've moved back there and I'm a dorm assistant in the girls dorm.
I've been a nanny for the past 4 years and currently I'm working part-time for 3 families. It's the best job ever!
It's hard to think of what I like to do in my free time because lately it has been lacking! I love spending time with my sweet friends when our schedules match up. I love traveling and try to do that as much as I can.
I don't have any exciting hidden talents, which is a bummer, but in high school I did cross country skiing and ran cross country at the state meet. I like to do artsy things when I have time. And my favorite girl scout cookies are Samoas and Trefoils.
I went to South Africa last year over spring break and I've been wanting to go back to somewhere in Africa ever since, so I'm really excited about this trip. Through the whole process of finding/applying/preparing for this trip, God has really been teaching me to rely on Him and that ultimately His plans prevail.
